Keep up the Great Work,

Big Brother #2

The best place to look is at church based functions or activities. The person will stand out in a good way in the crowd. He does not have to be identical to you but it helps if you are able to relate to each other better. Thus, if you are a younger Catholic you would look for other younger members for your group. It does not have to be that way and each group will be different but the more similarities you each have the easier it will be to bond into the true brotherhood. Prayer is the key to all things and when you are all seeking first the kingdom you will all bond well. The other members you may find praying before the Blessed Sacrament or at daily mass. Perhaps a prolife ministry. Maybe at a church fundraiser or at confession. The choir or other extracurricular activity such as Legion of Mary, Knights of Columbus, could be a Deacon or priest. Anyone will do but the holier the better. Steel sharpens steel so if you want to become holier surround yourself with holy people. People who thirst for salvation and souls. A sure sign you are on the right path.

Dear Brothers in Christ,
Just reaching out to you to let you know how I have been doing with my prayers and also to see how the Spirit is working in your lives. I have missed a few times praying the daily prayers mostly because I leave to the end of the day and then find myself sleeping before I can finish. I hope my guardian angle picked up my slack. I resolve to pray before lunch so that way I can not forget. How have you been doing with the prayers. Also any other fruits in yourselves or our paralytics. Keep up the great work and do not forget to sacrifice in little ways but with great love. In Christ, Big Brother #2 One of the hidden treasures of the Four Men prayer group is that praying the daily prayers for your paralytics also blesses you and yours. Part of the Seeking First the Kingdom theme you see throughout this site. It is true, for example if you pray seven Hail Mary's daily and mediatate on Mary's sorrows, Our Lady promised us that she would:
1) I will grant peace to their families. 2) They will be enlightened about the divine mysteries. 3) I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work. 4) I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls. 5) I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives. 6) I will visibly help them at the moment of their death, they will see the face of their Mother. 7) I have obtained (This Grace) from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy. St. Alphonsus Liguori testifies to complementary revelations given by Our Lord to St. Elizabeth of Hungary (1207-1231) where Jesus further promises four special graces to those dedicated to the sufferings of the co-redeeming Mother: 1. That those who before death invoke the Blessed Mother in the name of her sorrows, should obtain true repentance of all their sins. 2. That He would protect in their tribulations all who remember this devotion, and that He would protect them especially at the hour of death. 3. That He would impress upon their minds the remembrance of His Passion, and that they should have their reward for it in Heaven. 4. That He would commit such devout clients to the hands of Mary, so that she might obtain for these souls all the graces she wanted to lavish upon them. Copied from this site: http://www.sevensorrows.com/7sprayers.htm I am continually struck by how much God Blesses us when we Seek Him First. The Four Men prayer group is a perfect example of this. It is all about souls but God will give you through this group so much more. Does it take time to see the fruits? Of course. That being said the ride is great as well as you feel united in a brotherhood that transcends this world. You are saving souls and there is no work greater than that. God will Bless you abundantly when you seek his lost sheep. Our paralytics will become Saints through our prayers like St. Augustine and Saint Paul. Continue to pray and sacrifice and the Joys of heaven and earth will be yours.
In Christ, Big Brother #2 I have been involved in the Four Men Prayer Groups for seven years but this is now the first website to help bring souls to Jesus through prayer and sacrifice. It is so simple but so necessary for there is nothing more important to do in this world than to save souls for Jesus. We have our work in this world which no matter how important cannot equal the work of saving just one soul for Jesus who poured out all His Blood for that soul. He died for that soul and the least we can do is to offer our meager prayers and sacrifices joined with His on the Cross to save souls. I am excited that you may share with Jesus His love for souls. He thirsts for them. Do you? If you do start now through small prayers and sacrifices to help save souls. Put together a Four Men prayer group of your own so your prayers will be united to the same cause.
