True Devotion to Our Mother Mary

Picture
As God’s Marines are Mission is to Bring Souls to Jesus.  We have learned that to do that we must bring ourselves to Jesus as well.  There is no better way to bring ourselves to Jesus than through Mary Our Heavenly Mother.

"it's Mary's God given task, in union with and by the power of the Holy Spirt, to form every human being into "another Christ," that is, to unite everyone to the Body of Christ and form each person into a fully mature member of this Body.  Therefore, every human being is invited to rest in the womb of Mary and be transformed there, by the power, by the power of the Holy Spirit, more perfectly into Christ's own image.  Yes, if we want to become more fully Christ, then we need to belong more fully to Mary.  By going to her and remaining with her, we allow her to accomplish her mission in us.  We allow her to form us into other Christs, into great saints.  But how do we do this?  How do we belong more fully to Mary and allow her to fulfill her mission in us? Simple.  We say yes, just like she did.

Marian consecration basically means giving Mary our full permission to complete her motherly task in us, which is to form us into other Christs.  Thus, by consecrating ourselves to Mary, each of us is saying to her:

Mary, I want to be a saint.  I know that you also want me to be a saint and that it's your God-given mission to form me into one.  So, Mary, at this moment, on this day, I freely choose to give you my full permission to do your work in me, with your Spouse, the Holy Spirit.

As soon as Mary hears us make such a decision, she flies to us and begins working a masterpiece of grace within our souls..."It's always a good idea for us to strive to deepen our "yes" to Mary. For the deeper our "yes" becomes, the more marvelously she can perform her works of grace in our souls."

One of the greatest aspects of being consecrated to Mary is that she's such a gentle mother.  She makes the lessons of the Cross into something sweet, and she pours her motherly love and solace into every wound.  Going to her and giving her permission to do her job truly is the "surest, easiest, shortest and the most perfect means" to becoming a saint.  What joy it is to be consecrated to Jesus through Mary!" ~Extracted from

33 Days to Morning Glory written by Fr. Michael Gaitley http://www.marian.org/marians/story.php?NID=4742

I highly recommend this book as the simplest, easiest, and shortest way to become Consecrated to Jesus through Mary.  As soon as you are able order this book and become consecrated yourself.

Another great way to learn more about Consecration to Mary is to Read this short book by St. Louis De. Montfort called the Secret of Mary,

“We are given reason to believe that, towards the end of time and perhaps sooner than we expect, God will raise up people filled with the Holy Spirit and imbued with the spirit of Mary. Through them Mary, Queen most powerful, will work great wonders in the world, destroying sin and setting up the kingdom of Jesus her Son upon the RUINS of the corrupt kingdom which is this great earthly Babylon. (Rev. 18:20) These holy people will accomplish this by means of this very devotion, of which I have only traced the main outlines. It suffers from my incompetence.” St. Louis De. Montfort

For any mother to lose her son, or even worst, to see her son physically tortured to shreds and then seeing Him crucified on a cross, the lowliest of deaths of public display, and having to hear all those that at one time or another followed Him and shouted, "Jesus, Son of God, heal us." and now hearing them change their song of want to one of "Crucigy Him!"

How she weathered the pain and agony of her son, even if he is the Son of God, her sorrows surpass those of a normal mother in that sense, that he was her son and the son of the Most High. Not understanding many thngg as of yet, her sorrows became known as Sorrowful woes.

Yet later she was overjoyed in seeing her son, the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Lord, alive, what joy enveloped her heart, mind and soul. What mother would not rejoice and cry out to the Most High in thanks.

Oh Father God, how precious is your mercy and love. We pray that you care for our sorrows as you did the sorrows of Mary, and comfort us accordingly, for the Son of Man died to rescue and ransom so many souls from the ends of death's condemnation. And now with this renewed hope, we rejoice all the more as mary did after seeing her son resurrected after three days. Such sorrow intermingled with such joy.

Thank you Father God.
Amen.

Our blessed Mother helps us every day to work for the salvation of the souls in remembrance of the death of your son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Blessed Mother we entrust you with the souls of our paralytics.

It is clear to me now why my mother prayed so faithfully to Our Blessed Mother Mary and why Our Lord has now saved me by his Grace, to bring me back from the depths to which I sank, to try and save souls to honor His Blessed Mother. I pray that I am equal to that task and that I forever remain faithful to Our Lady and to Gods Marines, Amen

I came across the Seven Sorrows Devotion some time after my divorce. It was and still is a tremendous help when dealing with the various passages in life that my four children have gone through.

This is an important statement of the role of Mary in our work as 4 Men groups. Our work begins with our consecration to Mary as a path to God.

Oh what heartache, when a child is hurt or hurting, and a parent is so helpless to alleviate the suffering. And then there's our heavenly Mother, who's heart was pierced not only by the sight of her Son's passion but by our sin. Yet she loves us unconditionally and is there pouring out grace to bring us in union with Jesus. Mary pray for all God's Marines, all of us in Bootcamp, all our paralytics and especially those who need your help the most. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you.

Christians ask me, what is salvation for me?
I simply answer "in the arms of a Loving & Merciful Mother"..

Mary carried & accompanied Jesus from "Womb to Tomb"...

This is the True Devotion to Mary....realizing that following & imitating the Life of Jesus means embracing the same path Jesus lived...it's the only path given to us to enter the Kingdom of God...
What is the path?
THE WAY OF THE CROSS...nobody can carry our cross & climb our calvary and be willing to die on our God-given cross without a Mother...
Sweet Heart of Mama Mary be my salvation.S&IHMMP4us.Amen
