Praying your daily Four Men Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament

Picture
"Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament has His hands full of graces, and He is ready to bestow them on anyone who asks for them," (St. Peter of Alcantara)

The Heart of The Four Men Prayer Groups is the prayers before the Blessed Sacrament.  Our Mission is to bring souls to Jesus.  We start by bringing ourselves to Jesus before the Blessed Sacrament.

Everyday you should pray your Four Men prayers before the Blessed Sacrament.  This may not always be possible physically but can always be possible Spiritually.  You would do this by imagining yourself praying before the Blessed Sacrament.  Another way is by using 24 hours live adoration which is available at this link
http://www.savior.org/#
This is an easy way to be with the Eucharistic Lord at your computer.  I use the low bandwidth version and keep Jesus at the top of my screen while I work below.  Thus, I keep Jesus with me throughout the work day but especially when I pray my Four Men daily prayers.

"God dwells in our midst, in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar."

-St. Maximilian Kolbe

"Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly for you - for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart...don't listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love...

- St Therese of the Child Jesus

"Each time we look at The Most Blessed Sacrament our place in heaven is raised forever."
~(Revealed by Our Lord to St. Gertrude the Great)

"I throw myself at the foot of the Tabernacle like a dog at the foot of his Master."

- St. John Vianney

"At Nazareth Joseph's days were filled with work which necessarily took him away at times from his Infant God. During these hours Mary replaced him, but when evening brought him home again, he would pass the entire night in adoration, never tiring, only too happy for the chance to contemplate the hidden riches of Jesus' divinity. For he pierced the rough garments the Child wore, until his faith touched the Sacred Heart. In profound adoration he united himself to the special grace of each one of the events in the life of Jesus. He adored our Lord in His hidden life and in His Passion and Death; he adored in advance the Eucharistic Christ in His tabernacles: there was nothing that our Lord could hide from Saint Joseph. Among the graces which Jesus gave to His foster-father -- and He flooded him with the graces attached to every one of His mysteries -- is that special to an adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. That is the one we must ask of St. Joseph. Have confidence, strong confidence in him. Take him as the patron and the model of your life of adoration."

- St. Peter Julian Eymard

"We have close to us as much as Joseph had at Nazareth; we have our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, but our poor eyes fail to see Him. Let us once become interior souls and we shall immediately see. In no better way can we enter into the Heart of our Lord than through Saint Joseph. Jesus and Mary are eager to pay the debts which they owe him for his devoted care of them, and their greatest pleasure is to fulfill his least desire. Let him, then, lead you by hand into the interior sanctuary of Jesus Eucharistic."

-         St. Peter Julian Eymard

"Do you want many graces? Go and visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Do you want few graces? Visit the Blessed Sacrament rarely. Do you want none at all? Then never pay a visit to the Blessed Sacrament,"

- St. John Bosco

"We must visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament a hundred thousand times a day."

- St. Francis de Sales

"Go to the tabernacle in spirit when you are unable to do so physically, and there pour out your ardent desires, talk, pray, and embrace the Beloved of our souls, even more than if you had been permitted to receive Him sacramentally."

~St. Pio

Here is a powerful story of God's protection over those who honor and venerate the Blessed Sacrament:
Maximilian I, Emperor of Austria, having ascended the steep mountains in the neighborhood of Innsbruck to so great a height that he could neither venture to descend again nor could anyone come to his aid, cried out to the people below to bring the Blessed Sacrament as near to him as possible, in order (as in his great peril he was unable to receive It) that he might at least honor It as well as he could by adoring It and recommending himself to Jesus Christ from the rock above.  Accordingly, the Blessed Sacrament is carried thither; the Emperor adores It with most profound respect and great devotion and implores Jesus Christ to help him.  What happens? No sooner had the Emperor commenced to pray to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament than he saw a beautiful youth behind himm probably his guardian angel, who led him safely down among the most frightfully steep rocks by a path hitherto unperceived, and when the Emperor was about to reward him, he suddenly disappeared. (The Blessed Eucharist by Father Michael Muller, Tan Books)

Our Lord showed Himself in the Sacred Host as a little child with His hands full of precious stones saying to Blessed Alvarez, "If there were only some one to whom I might distribue them."
May all of us God's Marines take them all to help bring souls to Jesus!

The Four Men prayers do not take long but if you leave them to the end of the day as I have found out you can miss them.  After seven years of praying them I have come to realize that if I do not do them before lunch I may end up missing them.  It is not the end of the world but he who falls in little things falls in big things as well.  My fellow brothers are counting on my prayers as is Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.  They need my meager prayers to help save our paralytics souls.  Jesus wants us to imitate Him.  To become Him.  He prays and intercedes for sinners, we should pray and intercede as well.  He died for them, we die for them in little ways such as sacrifices and prayers.  I believe when this life is over we will never regret the time spent in prayer and sacrifice for our brothers and sisters in Christ (Our spiritual paralytics).  Help Bring souls to Jesus through prayer and sacrifice.  Bring them everyday to the Blessed Sacrament Spiritually through your prayers and sacrifices.

A great way to increase your devotion to the Blessed sacrament is to have a medal of the Blessed Sacrament with you at all times!

I am made humble by a real-life situation.

Following Ash Wednesday Mass and after receiving ashes, an older man named "Kim " (last named withheld for privacy) was referred to me as I left the church proper regarding an issue of a mix-up obtaining a box of food from our local food shelf. He told me he was living in a camper behind a restaurant twenty or so miles from our church. He does not have running water and is paying $250 cash out of his social security check each month, not getting a receipt because the owner of the restaurant is not reporting the rent as income. He applied for assistance from the County DHS and was declined because he could not prove his rental payment to reduce his income to a level to qualify for assistance, approximately Less than $1,200 per month. He has been living in the camper about a year, gets electricity through an extension cord, but has no running water. He lost his job two years ago, was old enough to qualify for social security, but without the job lost his home and during this period, his wife passed away. If any of the "brothers" are moved to pray that I can help improve his life as I am called to do, please ask for the Holy Spirit to intervene in Kim's life to strengthen him in perseverance and lead me to those who can find the temporal solutions he needs to address his survival and be guided closer to God in process and be moved to help others as he is lifted out of his situation. I have worked as avolunteer with others such as Kim, but never a person at the level of survival described to me tonight.

Yours in Christ.

Stay strong in your prayers. Take advantage of time before the blessed sacrament. Saintly souls in the solitude of their communings with God or in the faithful accomplishment of their daily duties may contribute as much to the conversion of sinners as missionaries who deal directly with souls.

I, too have been touched by the Blessed Sacrament when I was in a chapel for adoration. I will tell the two experiences at another time, but plain and simple, HE IS PRESENT!

God Bless All My Fellow Warriors,

I have just happened upon the 4Men movement. As a fellow fisher of men, my Spirit is forever drawn to new movements that draw men closer to the Lord...that initiate new understanding in our role as disciples of Jesus Christ...the Spiritual leaders of our families.

My Spirit resonates with the connectivity the 40 day boot camp affords. While I am still very new to this movement, I am gaining a sense that we are umbillically adjoined in Spirit.

May you be blessed. I look forward to a growing friendship with you.

There are good ideas given in today's lesson. The most important to me is that I need to visit Jesus in the tabernacle much more than I now do. He is waiting there with His graces.

Day 3...and encouraged by the comments above, and those unsaid. I am humbled during adoration but boldly present myself to our God.

This is my 3rd day.
What wonderful gift is for us Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! Today we can see His love, his umility in a little piece of bread. I can not forget the little Blessed Francisco Marto (Fatima) and his extraordinary love for Jesus in the tabernacle.
we have to imitate the little Francisco,
thank you!

Brothers in Christ, I was moved very much by Kim's case living in a mobile w/o running water or electricity.
What really tork's me off is that most are sending prayers, but this is not the solutions.

We need to send money to help our brother in need with all these prayers. Someone from where he lives open up a checking Account and let us
All mail in or electronic send in money if we want to help him. Actions will show more then words

After an account is establish, send in thru Facebook to see how many persons will be touch by God to help our brother in Christ

Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. As far as I know I started visiting and praying the Adoration Chapel if time permits me since year 1997 ...It's been 20 years now...I only beginning to realize now after that long years...that the word "hidden glory" is the Key to contemplate Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament...I know St.Peter Julian Eymard help me and other Saints whom God had introduce to me along the way.Plus this 40 day daily guide, it's really a gift from God to be able to appreciate His Wisdom in Hiding His Glory in the form of bread...
So much simplicity, one really cannot fathom this deep mystery...Pope Francis call to Conversion help me realize that humility will leads us to the Truth...and the Holy Spirit as St.Montfort said is only attracted in a soul who's heart resembles Mama Mary's heart...There's so much beauty & wisdom in spending time praying and reading the word of God and articles and videos...Really my soul thirst for more of God's Wisdom...it's something hard to explain but my soul delight in it so much.
Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.
Godbless.S&IHMMP4us.Amen
