Praying your daily Four Men Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament
The Heart of The Four Men Prayer Groups is the prayers before the Blessed Sacrament. Our Mission is to bring souls to Jesus. We start by bringing ourselves to Jesus before the Blessed Sacrament.
Everyday you should pray your Four Men prayers before the Blessed Sacrament. This may not always be possible physically but can always be possible Spiritually. You would do this by imagining yourself praying before the Blessed Sacrament. Another way is by using 24 hours live adoration which is available at this link http://www.savior.org/#
This is an easy way to be with the Eucharistic Lord at your computer. I use the low bandwidth version and keep Jesus at the top of my screen while I work below. Thus, I keep Jesus with me throughout the work day but especially when I pray my Four Men daily prayers.
"God dwells in our midst, in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar."
-St. Maximilian Kolbe
"Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly for you - for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart...don't listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love...
- St Therese of the Child Jesus
"Each time we look at The Most Blessed Sacrament our place in heaven is raised forever."
~(Revealed by Our Lord to St. Gertrude the Great)
"I throw myself at the foot of the Tabernacle like a dog at the foot of his Master."
- St. John Vianney
"At Nazareth Joseph's days were filled with work which necessarily took him away at times from his Infant God. During these hours Mary replaced him, but when evening brought him home again, he would pass the entire night in adoration, never tiring, only too happy for the chance to contemplate the hidden riches of Jesus' divinity. For he pierced the rough garments the Child wore, until his faith touched the Sacred Heart. In profound adoration he united himself to the special grace of each one of the events in the life of Jesus. He adored our Lord in His hidden life and in His Passion and Death; he adored in advance the Eucharistic Christ in His tabernacles: there was nothing that our Lord could hide from Saint Joseph. Among the graces which Jesus gave to His foster-father -- and He flooded him with the graces attached to every one of His mysteries -- is that special to an adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. That is the one we must ask of St. Joseph. Have confidence, strong confidence in him. Take him as the patron and the model of your life of adoration."
- St. Peter Julian Eymard
"We have close to us as much as Joseph had at Nazareth; we have our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, but our poor eyes fail to see Him. Let us once become interior souls and we shall immediately see. In no better way can we enter into the Heart of our Lord than through Saint Joseph. Jesus and Mary are eager to pay the debts which they owe him for his devoted care of them, and their greatest pleasure is to fulfill his least desire. Let him, then, lead you by hand into the interior sanctuary of Jesus Eucharistic."
- St. Peter Julian Eymard
"Do you want many graces? Go and visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Do you want few graces? Visit the Blessed Sacrament rarely. Do you want none at all? Then never pay a visit to the Blessed Sacrament,"
- St. John Bosco
"We must visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament a hundred thousand times a day."
- St. Francis de Sales
"Go to the tabernacle in spirit when you are unable to do so physically, and there pour out your ardent desires, talk, pray, and embrace the Beloved of our souls, even more than if you had been permitted to receive Him sacramentally."
~St. Pio
Here is a powerful story of God's protection over those who honor and venerate the Blessed Sacrament:
Maximilian I, Emperor of Austria, having ascended the steep mountains in the neighborhood of Innsbruck to so great a height that he could neither venture to descend again nor could anyone come to his aid, cried out to the people below to bring the Blessed Sacrament as near to him as possible, in order (as in his great peril he was unable to receive It) that he might at least honor It as well as he could by adoring It and recommending himself to Jesus Christ from the rock above. Accordingly, the Blessed Sacrament is carried thither; the Emperor adores It with most profound respect and great devotion and implores Jesus Christ to help him. What happens? No sooner had the Emperor commenced to pray to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament than he saw a beautiful youth behind himm probably his guardian angel, who led him safely down among the most frightfully steep rocks by a path hitherto unperceived, and when the Emperor was about to reward him, he suddenly disappeared. (The Blessed Eucharist by Father Michael Muller, Tan Books)
Our Lord showed Himself in the Sacred Host as a little child with His hands full of precious stones saying to Blessed Alvarez, "If there were only some one to whom I might distribue them."
May all of us God's Marines take them all to help bring souls to Jesus!
The Four Men prayers do not take long but if you leave them to the end of the day as I have found out you can miss them. After seven years of praying them I have come to realize that if I do not do them before lunch I may end up missing them. It is not the end of the world but he who falls in little things falls in big things as well. My fellow brothers are counting on my prayers as is Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. They need my meager prayers to help save our paralytics souls. Jesus wants us to imitate Him. To become Him. He prays and intercedes for sinners, we should pray and intercede as well. He died for them, we die for them in little ways such as sacrifices and prayers. I believe when this life is over we will never regret the time spent in prayer and sacrifice for our brothers and sisters in Christ (Our spiritual paralytics). Help Bring souls to Jesus through prayer and sacrifice. Bring them everyday to the Blessed Sacrament Spiritually through your prayers and sacrifices.
A great way to increase your devotion to the Blessed sacrament is to have a medal of the Blessed Sacrament with you at all times!
