The First Day of the Four Men Boot Camp

Nothing More Holy

Picture
"There is nothing more holy in this world than to work for the good of souls, for whose salvation Jesus Christ poured out the last drops of His Blood." (St. John Bosco)

Jesus died for these souls and thus He is willing to pay us any price to help Him save them.  The price He first pays is to ensure our own salvation.
“Whoever brings back a sinner will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” (James 5:20)
This seems like the best deal in the Bible.  However, since the soul of a sinner is so precious to God He is willing to pay any price imaginable.  Now let us say for example we have already saved one soul, so we are going to heaven.  That of course is true, but how much more will God repay those who love Him and give Him what He wants which is souls.  He will reward us a hundredfold for the things we do for Him on this earth.  Thus, each precious soul that we help to be saved through our prayers and sacrifices will be repaid in heaven.  Imagine one soul is worth saving our own soul, how much will a hundred souls be worth.  God also pays us in this world as well with joy and happiness at doing such a holy work.  There is nothing more holy in this world!

Ask your wife, family, friends, to pray for you that you get the graces necessary to successfully complete this Spiritual Boot Camp and to do such Holy Work.  The Work of bringing souls to Jesus through prayer and sacrifice.

You now have begun a Great Work!

It looks like we will be some of the founders of this fantastic group. I went to school in both Santa Barbara and South Carolina. Now I live in Northern Indiana with 1 wife (original) and 3 kids...and 4 dogs. St. John Bosco is our Parish. Was formed by the very strict Sisters of the IHM at St. Simon's School in Los Altos CA. Now trying to make sure the kids get the same advantage.

First day of the reste of my life. In Your hands my soul rests. I am a man who lives in Mexico with my wife and our two younger kids, the two older ones having stayed in France to finish school. The world is in dire need of love, may our Lord gives strength to give some out of the blessings God has endowed my family with. God bless us all and helps us pour some of the love we have upon those who need it most so they find happiness in this life and eternal salvation in the next one.

This is the first day of the boot camp. I was excited to come across the four men group. It has been on my heart lately to be a part of something like this. God has called us to courageous love and I pray he will use my prayers and my life for His glory to bring souls to Him. By the way I live in a small town in Northwestern Indiana and attend a small parish called Sorrowful Mother. God Bless and keep me in your prayers as I will also pray for you as we surrender ourselves more deeply .

I am currently a non-traditional student attending our local community college. I last was at college nearly thirty years ago. I attend Our Lady Of Peace Parish in Williamstown NJ. I have a great affinity with sinners as I was one of the first order for many years. I have turned my life over to God and I am a recovered alcoholic of 6 years. I pray daily for forgiveness and Gods grace to help another man repent and turn his life over to our Lord and savior as well. I ask that you pray for me that I may complete this 40 day boot camp with even more determination and Faith that I may help another. God Bless

I truly feel honored by Our Providential Abba, his only begotten Son Jesus, in the power ot the Tutor Holy Spirit to have me to born again in infant baptism in the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church in October 1946! Furthermore I feel most thankful that my mother taught me as my first prayer was to say the rosary. My father who was a very successful doctor along with my mother took me to daily Mass! Even though it was a great hardship by them paying taxes for public schools they sacrifice by sending us (4 children to Catholic Schools from grade school, middle school, and high school at a great private tuition costs)! My parents told us waht made Catholic schools so special is that we would begin each day of school with daily Mass! This was a daily part of the school attendances and this could not be misses! Then each school day after the Mass (f course fasting from food past midnight) for the reception of the Holy Eucharist) we would have 15 minutes to eat a snack first by saying grace before meals! Then the school bell ring and the principal usually a nun or priest over the loud speaker would say a morning offering and the whole student body in all the classes would pray! Then we would say the pledge allegiance to the United States Flag of America! Then each class would begin with an out loud prayer to the Holy Spirit for us to be enlighten in our subject matter! The first class was always the Baltimore Catechism where all the questions and answers were directly in looking back to the WORD and SACRAMENT of the daily Mass! I truly believe in Hell but I do not believe Jesus sends us there because God is love, however, the greatest action of love is free will! It is we, in God who is Love, that God gives us the loving choice to choose Hell for ourselves! We will judge ourselves in the presences of a Holy God according to Mathew 25, the Last Judgement! I have joined this site that no one goes to hell for this is real! I also believe there is NO salvation outside of the Catholic Church, and the highest born again experienced on the earth as in heaven is in the Nuptial of the Eucharist where Jesus stands as Bridegroom and we as His Bride! I further believe is Mama Blessed Virgin Mary is SINLESS and had an Immaculate Conception where Catholics do not worship Mary but do honor as Jesus did in obeying the 4th Commandment given to Moses by I AM! I did spend 4 years in a Men's Sodality with Mary as Our Model Disciple at Xavier University form !964-!968. In 1969 I was baptized in the Holy Spirit ( a release of the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit from my confirmation, bathed in the Galatians 5:22 fruit of the Holy Spirit at eh Catholic Parish called Saint Boniface. Under the direction of Fr. Dwayne Stencil we began in a vacant convent the New Jerusalem Community where we had daily Mass and brought in the poor, the hungry, the lonely and took care of all of their needs and gave them a place to live! Currently in 2008, I have been called by the Lord Jesus Christ to go to Cebu City to do medical missions and to be a lay Eucharistic Evangelist! I have returned in 2012, and 2013 at my own expense and being very happy in serving the poorest of the poor! On August 10 th, 2013, I married Reynilda Timagas, a very holy woman by Father David who I had met in 2009 who also serves the poor at garbage dumps, at Archbishop's Palace in Cebu City, Philippines! Reynidla and I who believe in no contraception even NFP, had conceived a baby Girl! We flew to Manila on August 18th for my August 21th flight back to America from the International Airport. When we arrived in terminal 2 of the Domestic Airport (they actually have 3) it was flooded! We were in the middle of an active Typhoon with bodies floating out to sea, all communications shut off, etc. When I returned home to America August 21, after flying into the Typhoon from Manila to Japan, then to Atlanta Georgia then to Augusta Georgia, then arriving in Aiken SC my home, my wife Reynilda who I must declare is a SAINT told me with tearful eyes that we lost our baby! Now Jesus is caling me happily to be the rich young ruler to say yes to sell everything (for me it is to give everything away) so that I can gladly and cheerfully be with my wife and to live and serve the poorest of the poor! I ask for you prayers that I can keep humble in this calling to love as Jesus love!

First Day of Training:
Mission accomplished for day one.

As a new starting member of "The Four Men" I am happy to be starting by praying and working to bring souls to Christ. I feel this so called "work" is more a pleasure than a work to be performed. I know most all souls pray for their own needs and the needs of their own families.

However, I believe that Our Lord and Dear Blessed Mary have given me a great grace to pay special attention to and to pray very fervently for other souls in need. There is a term for it, but I hope to explain that later.

Anyway, I will have no trouble praying for other souls and I will be saying a very good Rosary for several souls on my list tonight and all of this week. In addition, I am lucky as tomorrow, Tuesday evening, and every Tuesday evening at 7PM one of the two churches I like to attend has a special Holy Hour in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrement. I will be going to the Holy Hour tomorrow and every Tuesday night as long as I could until further notice. It is a very special Holy Hour as it is not too crowded yet (although I hope it will be), but it is during the quiet times that I can reflect on the Mysteries of the Rosary and the Prayers of the Honor of the Blessed Sacrement. I feel very much drawn to the love of Jesus and Blesed Mary when I am praying for other souls in need. This is a pleasure for me.

As far as Marines go, both my father and my older brother were in the Marine Corps and I know the discipline it takes to be a Marine. I almost joined two times, but my brother talked me out if it at the both times.

I do have physical and mental discipline as I trained and became a fairly good climber a few years back. I did some very difficult routes and trained a lot doing "bouldering" low to the ground training that simulates moves I would have to make up at 200 feet. Those were great experiences.

However, there is one climb in life and really THE ONLY ONE that matters to any soul. And that is to reach the top of "The Ladder of Divine Ascent". The Ladder of Divine Ascent is the climb of prayer and virtues and it is a struggle to fight and defeat every vice or human frailty that can possibly be defeated. The reward is to glimpse the "Uncreated Light", the knowledge of the "Infinite Love" of Jesus Christ. The Love that Blessed Mary was the first to know and became the Mother of God. She became the Mother of every blessed and graced soul. I will NEVER deny Blessed Mary as the Mother of God, the Spouse of The Holy Spirit and my mother.

I felt that love for a moment once and the Infinite Love of Christ is so powerful and so beautiful it is almost unbearable. What I mean is that the Infinite Love of Christ is so powerful Our Lord can overpower a soul to within an inch of leaving this world. It was an experience that cannot be explained and at that time I was praying very hard for the salvation of a certain soul I cared about. I was not expecting to receive such a very powerful experience, but it happened. I know why it happened because one of the most important things Our Lord mentioned and asked us to do was to "Love God and Neighbor". And that meant to Love even your own enemies and to pray for them. It meant to pray for your enemies to stop the vice of pride, hostility, or animosity and to meditate on Christ for a few minutes. Then the transformation from unbeliever to a saved blessed soul begins. Then as Our Lords Prayer says, "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Then also, the Angels in heaven celebrate over that one saved soul in very great delight.

So, to pray for other souls is a definite pleasure for me, as I know the Love of Our Infinite Lord and that if I am in any way a help in saving that soul, be it friend, family, or enemy, I know will receive a great reward in heaven.

I look forward to continuing my basic training as a member of "The Four Men" prayer group. I hope to learn a lot and get some great training in my attempt to climb "The Ladder of Divine Ascent". Rather than riches, fame, or anything else I consider it the goal of a lifetime

I thank anyone for any spiritual direction and guidance you may offer.

Glory to Jesus Christ and Blessed Mary!

Richard

Dearest,
I live in Italy and I thank you all for this great work for our Lovely God. If we look at the Cross we can ear His voice, He said: I thirst. But He thirst not for water but for love and souls. He asked to you and to me to satiate His unquenchable thirst of souls. Do you want to bring to Jesus your little drop of water and love? I say yes!

Dear Brothers, I thank you for the beautiful reflections and prayers contained in this 1st day. Please pray for me that the Holy Spirit will continue to pour out abundant graces throughout these 40 days and strengthen me in faith and love for God. I know our heavenly Mother Mary, the Mother of God, will be by our sides as we work for the greater glory of her Son's kingdom.

For all that are to come after me, may our dear Lord bless your efforts as we join together in prayer in the One body of Christ which is His Church- you and I, our families, friends and the crosses that we all carry, those that have come before us and those that are yet to come. Something special is indeed "in the air" and I am most grateful to be in the company of all the souls who seek union with the Father. May the love of God and the peace of Christ be with you all!

I have a strong calling to save souls on earth and relieve the suffering of souls in purgatory. Please keep me in your prayers and my journey to salvation.
